Welcome to Open-VA.org
Open-VA is a digital security initiative led by netfocus to offer to the community a fully accessible open source Validation Authority for programmers ready to use, redistribute and modify.
A Validation Authority is a component that verifies electronic certificates integrity in real time, providing confidence and protection to electronic communications and transactions.
This is the first SOA Validation Authority project that starts up on the world.
Once you have installed Open-VA, you will be able to:
- Validate Digital Certificates (see Documentation)
- Validate Signed Documents (see Documentation)
- Validate the Spanish electronic Identity Card (DNIe) (see Documentation)
To run Open-VA in your system you need the following requisites:
- An Applications Server (see Requirements)
- A Database Server (see Requirements)
